This year in a list
In honor of my attempts, my experiences, my gains and losses in 2015, I wanted to make a list of things that I have had the blessing of taking part in this year. It has helped me pay immense grattitude for where I am. It can be fun, sad, awakening to do one for yourself!
1. Decided to sign up for, train, and run 2 half marathons- I had never been a runner before
2. I completed a yoga teacher training
3. I went on a roadtrip with my boyfriend- had never been on a trip with him and had never been to the Berkshires, or Massachussetts!
4. Celebrated the best Valentine's day of my life
5. Visited the Brooklyn Brewery for a tour
6. Made my own kombucha scoby
7. Saw an amazing comedy show with my friends- Hannibal Buress showed as a special guest
8. went vegan, felt amazing
9. tried a netti pot for the first time
10. made bread from scratch for the first time
11. made vegan cheese for the first time
12. saved up and bought my own vitamix- oh yeah
13. flew to Arizona to see a friend- made mussels for the first time
14. went to hot yoga with someone I love
15. Rang in the beginning of the year in Hawaii
16. met amazing people I will remember in my heart forever
17. did Dynamic meditation, Kundalini yoga, and a group challenge/practice
18. managed a coffee shop
19. graduated college
20. became closer to my grandma
21. knitted a toy hedgehog
22. made kimchi for the first time
23. moved in with my significant other
24. taught a yoga class
25. hiked and hung out in Johnsville, CA with the cousins
26. Drove 6 hours to Boston to see Taylor Swift on a whim with my best friend who convinced me to go and made the car reservation
27. took some of my favorite pictures, lost some of my favorite pictures
28. made some of my own new vegan recipes
29. sprouted mung beans
30. followed my dreams
31. quit my job
32. Hosted my cousin at my apartment, showed him my favorite parts of the city- the first time we hung out as adults
33, had a pregnancy scare
34. helped someone with a major loss
35. finally put this site up to share with all of you
